About Barsala:
Barsala by Landing is a mission-driven real-estate technology startup that is democratizing the use of space and disrupting a $1Tn industry by creating a better way for travelers to stay, for work or play. We put unused residential inventory to use by operating them as home-like spaces for travelers with the flexibility of an Airbnb and the service consistency of a hotel. We already have great product-market fit and we're now looking for entrepreneurial team members to co-pilot the rocketship.
About this Position:
A high-energy Real Estate Business Development Rep who will discover and qualify potential opportunities and navigate them through the internal pipeline to a successful transition to the onboarding department. The right candidate will act as the face of the company armed with both comprehensive knowledge of internal operations as well as industry trends and financial returns.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the Director of Real Estate
- Communicate Barsala’s value proposition in a succinct but effective manner, to set-up meetings between C-level decision makers or Owners of Class-A multi-family assets and the Barsala Director of Real Estate
- Drive the development of pipeline growth with owners of Class-A multi-family assets
- Manage an expansive pipeline of opportunities through the internal pipeline, hand-holding each opportunity through different phases of the acquisition pipeline
- Ensure all inputs and assumptions into our proprietary pro-forma analytics are accurate prior to meetings with multifamily developer owners
- Support preparation of contracts through crafting exhibits, preparing letters of intent and diligent review
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution
- At least 2 years of experience in real estate or as an SDR
- Track record of being competitive and winning
- Natural talent and energy: a “deal junky;” someone who wants to get deals done and is driven by their own ability to perform at a prominent level while poising the company for the greatest possibility of success
- Flexibility: Ability to handle demanding situations both internally and externally, confidence to negotiate legally with attorneys and principals, and push internal constraints in the most difficult situations. Someone who is motivated by defeat and does not take the losses to heart
- The ability to successfully work in a remote environment

This position includes variable compensation
Base pay: $55,000-$65,000
Total compensation estimate: $70,000-$80,000
