What We Need:
We’re looking for an organized, hands-on Office Assistant to support our Birmingham office. This is a part-time, in-office role where you’ll wear many hats and keep the day-to-day running smoothly. You’ll be the face of our front desk, support new hire onboarding, manage office logistics, and assist with a variety of administrative tasks.
What You’ll Do:
- Front Desk Support: Greet visitors and candidates, and provide general information.
- Order Management: Place office supplies orders, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Swag Management: Manage inventory of company swag, place orders, and handle outbound shipments.
- New Hire Setup (BHM): Assist in setting up new hires for their first day.
- Building Access Management: Manage building and parking deck access - issuing and deactivating badges, and managing records.
- Mail Handling: Open and distribute incoming mail (excluding utility statements), and scan documents to the appropriate recipients as needed.
- Candidates: Welcome candidates and guide them through their schedule.
- Maintenance Requests: Submit building maintenance requests.
- Assist with other projects as needed.

- Self-starter who takes initiative, enjoys wearing multiple hats and keeps daily operations running smoothly
- Confident using basic office technology, including printers, scanners, shipping tools, and email platforms
Working Hours
- Part-time position with flexible hours. Specific schedule to be determined.
- Occasional additional hours may be required based on office needs.
