About the Role:
As the company enters its next phase of growth, Landing is seeking an ambitious Vice President of National Accounts to drive sales for their newly launched Autopilot product. Reporting into Jason Creel, the Vice President of Development, this dynamic and strategic Sales leader will be responsible for taking a hands-on approach to drive deals forward by defining, developing, and delivering on short- and long-term commercial strategies. The champion candidate will be a senior commercial and strategic leader within Landing’s business and will drive the success and growth of Autopilot.
What you’ll do:
- Establish strong, long-lasting client relationships to deeply understand clients’ needs
- Foster deep relationships with multifamily property managers and ownership groups
- Continually gather customer feedback to improve sales processes and meet revenue goals
- Build a sales pipeline to generate leads and drive organic growth
- Engage prospects in a strategic and consultative manner, navigate a highly competitive market and develop business cases that showcase significant business impact
- Drive deals forward, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to clear roadblocks and ensure closures
- Develop an acquisition plan for strategic accounts and then drive the execution of the plan
- Plan and execute on goals for new deal signings in a time efficient manner that drives new rental volume and revenue
- Provide thought leadership on the strategic direction of the business
- Lead from the front and represent Landing in front of customers and source new business opportunities
- Maintain expertise in and positively represent the company and its culture, Landing’s newly launched Autopilot the short-term rental industry, and the factors influencing the market environment
- Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close business
- Use a CRM to track customer-related activities, communication, market data, and critical issues
- Identify and share sales best practices
- Achieve individual activity and revenue goals
What you need:
- 5+ years of experience of sales in the multifamily industry
- Ability to operate in a hyper-growth environment and understand both the complexity and challenges of navigating revenue generating functions through this phase of its lifecycle.
- Passionate about delivering great customers experience/service (views as revenue driver vs cost center).
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Well-connected in the industry, with the ability to leverage these relationships to leverage new ones
- Proven ability to operate in a fast paced and complex company
- Extensive experience in business development and direct execution, with a “hunter” mentality
