About the Role: 

As our Online Travel Agencies (OTA) Accounting Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for the accounting of Landing’s third-party reservations. You will team up with our OTA partners and our accounting crew to keep our listings and revenue in perfect harmony. If you’re someone who loves diving into the details, balancing statements, and playing a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes—this is your moment to shine!

What you’ll Do: 

• Review and reconcile invoices and statements from our OTA (Online Travel Agency) partners. 
• Create and distribute billing statements for new reservations from our online travel agency platforms.
• Update or adjust statements when there’s a change in a reservation.
• Confirm payouts by comparing our bank statements with OTA platform reports. from the OTAs.
• Reconcile accounts receivable by comparing our general ledger (Netsuite) to bank activity. 
• Ensure all OTA statements are accurate and finalized by the end of each month.
• Work with the team to share KPI monthly reporting on sales, profits from our OTA reservations.
• Monitor revenue commission fees.

What you need: 

• Fluent English
• Ability to work in-office at our Mexico City location
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, working with high-volume data entry
• Desirable Accounting Degree
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong sense of urgency and a solid work ethic
• Flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods, as needed
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a fit for our fast-paced, inclusive culture
• Adaptable and comfortable with change
• Well-organized and able to multitask using various administrative tools
• Kind, self-motivated, and hardworking, with a track record of achieving goals
• Knowledge in Accounting Principles like Revenue Recognition, as well as General Ledger.
• Experience in accounts receivable, as well as Bank Reconciliation.
