About the Role:
We are hiring a Development Manager to join us at Landing! In this role, you will join our Development team and be responsible for selling Autopilot. Success in this role looks like someone who can not only find the lead, but can sell them on our product and close the deal.
About the Team:
Our Development team owns the selling of our premier product Autopilot and managing our partner relationships, based in our Birmingham, AL headquarters. You will be working directly with our building owner management groups, property management groups, and you’ll report to the VP of Development. .
About the role:
- You’ll sell Autopilot, Landings exclusive management agreement, to Multifamily Ownership Groups and Property Management Groups around the US.
- Closing deals is the name of the game, daily follow up w/ leads and relationship building is key.
- Lead sourcing, identifying then testing creative ways to get in front of decision makers.
- Zoom/remote pitches are common, but getting out into the field to meet local teams to close deals is regular. Being prepared to hop on a plane is a weekly occurrence.
- Contract negotiation is a muscle you’ll use regularly.
- Industry networking, getting existing partners to refer us to who they know.
- You’ll work cross functionally with our AP Ops team on the deals you close.
- Based in Birmingham, AL HQ office.
Specific Requirements:
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with Service/Implementation teams.
- Consistent history of exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong planning skills and ability to implement successful sales strategies.
- Excellent work ethic, written and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel across the country to close a deal.
- 2+ years of relevant sales experience.
